Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a Controller.
Qualifications: A four (4) year degree in accounting or related field is required. CPA, MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting preferred. At least five (5) years of hospital Financial Manager experience is required. Five (5) years of Controller experience in a hospital setting is preferred. HFMA, MGMA, or other equivalent professional certification is preferred. Strong analytical, communication and computer skills are required
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Directing and coordinating the financial accounting and cost report preparation for MRH. Formulating and administering approved accounting practices for the organization. Develop methods for presenting data, projects, and studies of a financial and cost-based reimbursement nature. Design and maintain an organizational staffing structure to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectives. Manage fixed assets, accounts payable, payroll, cost report preparation, and cost accounting functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Full Time salaried position, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
