Switchboard Operator/ In & Outpatient Admissions Clerk
IMMEDIATE OPENING: PER DIEM POSITION
MAIN DUTIES: Include processing in- and outpatient registrations, answering the switchboard, miscellaneous clerical duties in the Patient Access Department.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate with exceptional customer service skills. Written and verbal ability to communicate effectively with patients, doctors and co-workers. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and to evaluate information and exercise good judgment. Previous office experience, medical terminology, computer, and insurance knowledge preferred. Previous switchboard experience preferred.
Varied hours per week. Must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays
