Millinocket Regional Hospital’s Ophthalmology practice offers advanced eye care to patients of all ages and needs. Jeremy Valentine, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, who has a vast skill set and is able to cater to all of your specialized eye care needs; including cataract surgery, retinal injections for the treatment of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
Ophthalmologists are medical doctors (M.D.) who have chosen to specialize in the field of eye care. In addition to diagnosing and treating eye diseases, Ophthalmologists provide more specialized services such as eye surgeries and advanced optical interventions and have extensive training in all areas of medicine, which they can leverage for a more holistic view when diagnosing and treating a patient.
A sampling of our Ophthalmology services include:
- Cataract surgery
- Maintenance of conditions including dry eye, diabetes and glaucoma
