Located in the Katahdin Region at the base of Baxter State Park, Millinocket Primary Care Rural Health Clinic has an opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible MD to work in its Primary Care office in Millinocket, Maine.
The practice is located on the campus of Millinocket Regional Hospital and has an excellent support staff. This is an opportunity to work with three other mid-levels and a DO. Staff include medical assistants, reception support, referral support, Clinical Coordinator, and case management support. Millinocket Regional Hospital’s Emergency Department is staffed with Physician Assistants 24/7. Oversight of the Emergency Department would include chart review of the PAs, participation in the quality improvement initiatives, assisting with policy and procedure changes in the Emergency Room, and being the Primary Supervising Physician of the PAs.
