MEDICAL ASSISTANT FT – PRIMARY CARE
Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a full time Medical Assistant in Primary Care.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certified Medical Assistant of Maine Licensed (Allied Health). Organized self-starter with great attention to detail. The ability to work as a team player in an efficient manner with great emphasis on patient care is essential. Previous medical office experience preferred, and computer experience required.
Main Function: Duties include assisting physicians with patient exams, procedures, phone triage, checking in patients, obtaining vital signs assisting with medication reconciliation, obtaining patient histories, scheduling tests, precertification process, processing instruments used in the practices, scheduling appointments, and follow up on patient results.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Full Time Position, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule may vary.
