Switchboard Operator / In and Outpatient Admissions Clerk
Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a part time Switchboard Operator / In and Outpatient Admissions Clerk in our Patient Access Department.
Qualifications: High School Graduate with exceptional customer service skills. Written and verbal ability to communicate effectively with patients, doctors and co-workers. Self starter with the ability to work independently and to evaluate information and exercise good judgment. Previous office experience, medical terminology, computer, and insurance knowledge preferred. Previous switchboard experience preferred.
Main Function: Includes processing in and outpatient registrations, answering the switchboard, as well as miscellaneous clerical duties in the Patient Access Department.
Days of week and shifts will vary. Must be available to work weekdays, holidays and weekends.
