NURSING MANAGER-FT
Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a full time Nursing Manager in our Medical/Surgical Services/SCU departments.
Qualifications: Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Maine. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. BLS an ACLS Certification required. PALS must be obtained within 6 months. Managerial or Supervisor experience strongly preferred. Recent experience in acute care nursing environment required-greater than 5 years strongly preferred. Must possess excellent communication and team building skills. Must be flexible.
Main Function: Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating the overall clinical nursing practice, including RN Supervisors, RN’s, CNA’s and Unit Secretaries. Up to 50% of time may be spent in clinical activities.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Full Time Position, Varied Days, Varied hours.
