  • COVID booster shot clinics announced

    October 26, 2021

We are pleased to be offering Moderna boosters to healthcare workers, high-risk patient-facing individuals, police, fire, EMS and pharmacy workers. These individuals were the first in line to get their vaccine, so that means they are now “due” for their booster. We are also making teachers a priority at this time. We will be personally reaching out to these organizations to coordinate with them.

In order to qualify for the Moderna booster, you must meet be at least six months past your second shot and meet at least one of the following criteria:

    • 65 years and older
    • Age 18+ who live in long-term care settings
    • Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
    • Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk settings
    • Those who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago

We encourage those who got the J&J to get the Moderna booster. The science is very, very clear that it gives you more antibody response than getting another J&J: which we will NOT be offering.
